Sanctuary of the Serpent Sky

Nestled where the eagle dreams—

in the womb of Amatlán,

where Quetzalcoatl first drew breath

and mountain winds still chant his name—

a pink temple rises,

cast in humble concrete, kissed by cloud and spirit.

This is no house—

but an altar sculpted by the hands of love,

birthed by Multiplicities,

for Frida—guru, guide, and flame.

Here, where architecture meets alchemy,

the walls do not contain,

they transmute.

Every surface sings of healing—

a portal woven from earth and vision,

for those who seek refuge,

for those who seek return.

A kitchen—ancient, pre-Hispanic in soul—

brews more than food: it stirs remembrance.

It leads into a living room that flows

like breath in deep meditation,

outward, into gardens grown not just to nourish,

but to mend.

A patio breathes as yoga shala,

holding space for stillness and sweat,

as dragonflies dance above a natural pool—

purified by time, by flora, by ancestral knowing.

Within, a bedroom cradles silence.

A sacred tub rests like a chalice—

its waters steeped in herb and hymn,

invoking Hildegard's green embrace.

Beneath it all—earth’s belly opens:

a temazcal, stone-bound and soul-deep,

beckons pilgrims back to the beginning,

to steam, to shadow,

to mother’s molten heart.

Above, on the crown of this sacred vessel,

a rooftop garden whispers skyward.

It becomes a prayer,

a terrace of meditation,

gazing into Cihualtepetl’s & Tepozteco’s ancient gaze—

where Dr. Jacobo Grinberg once vanished,

perhaps becoming light.

This home is more than space—

it is a breath,

a promise,

a spell.

It was made with love.

For Frida.

For the journey.

For return.
